GlobalWorks Campaign for Cablevision Honored For Multicultural Excellence By Association of National Advertisers

NEW YORK, November 13, 2006 -- GlobalWorks Group LLC was named as a Multicultural Excellence Awards Honoree by the Association of National Advertisers for its advertising campaign in the Hispanic market that the agency created for Cablevision Systems Corp.'s groundbreaking digital services, announced William Ortiz, President of GlobalWorks’ Multicultural Division.

"We're especially gratified to receive this recognition in a very competitive field that included Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and Georgia-Pacific,” Mr. Ortiz said.

The ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards annually recognize member companies and marketers that have produced outstanding multicultural advertising in the previous year (June 2005 through May 2006). Awards are presented in six categories: African American, Asian, Gay and Lesbian, Hispanic, General Market and Campaign with Significant Results. GlobalWorks was cited for its work in the Hispanic category.

The GlobalWorks campaign included two television spots. “Product Demo” is a 60-second commercial that draws on the classic Spanish-language TV ad formula for “new, improved” detergents as a tongue-in-cheek vehicle for conveying the superiority of Cablevision’s iO Digital TV. “’Product Demo’ achieved the highest volume of calls and sales ever for a Cablevision Hispanic campaign,” said Mr. Ortiz.

The second spot, a 60-second commercial called “Triplets,” used the same product demonstration theme to market Cablevision’s Triple Play bundle of digital cable, high-speed internet and VoIP calling service.

The GlobalWorks creative team was led by Creative Directors Caroline Fish and Takashi Omura.
