New York, NY January 7, 2009 -- Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW) has launched a new Web site, www.atlasair.com, designed and built by GlobalWorks Group.
Atlas is the recognized leader in international aviation outsourcing. It deploys the world's largest fleet of Boeing 747 freighter aircraft and a global infrastructure to serve the airline industry, the freight-forwarding community, and commercial and military customers.
The new site enhances Atlas Air's ability to deliver a seamless supply chain solution for the global airfreight industry, including customers such as Emirates SkyCargo and Qantas Freight, said Michael Steen, Chief Marketing Officer for AAWW.
"The new site makes it easier for current and prospective customers to access and evaluate our innovative airfreight solutions," Mr. Steen said.
GlobalWorks created a site that embraces the parent company's site as well as independent sites for the main operating units: Atlas Air (www.atlasair.com/aa), Polar (www.polaraircargo.com), and TITAN (www.titanaviationltd.com). They share a common look and feel, and communicate the Atlas value proposition consistently across AAWW's holdings, Mr. Steen said.
