NEW YORK, Aug. 29 – A hosted service to globally manage brand content, originated by GlobalWorks Group and formerly called Global Content Management 5.0, was renamed today GlobalWorks Orchestrate™.

“GlobalWorks Orchestrate was designed by global marketers for global marketers,” said Ashley Laing, Director of Technology Services at GlobalWorks. “As we expanded its scope and collaborative power, we needed to amplify the technology with a new, more appropriate name.

“Orchestrate captures the essence, embracing everything from design and creative development, to translating and integrating Web content and marketing collateral. It enables global marketers to build, simply and efficiently, a consistent brand voice around the world.”

Orchestrate automates and streamlines the way brands create, share, revise and publish content across multiple channels, languages and cultures. Because it increases collaboration and team productivity, speeds time to market and lowers costs, Orchestrate is ideal, Laing said, to bridge geographic borders.

“Orchestrate provides the same ease and range of capabilities as its predecessor,” Laing said. “It enables companies to manage and maintain brand standards in print and online marketing worldwide, and consolidates production and adaptation of Web sites and collateral.”

GlobalWorks Orchestrate gives control of content to those who know content best, Laing said. Editors around the globe can edit and review content, request translations, and approve and publish updates without using a developer. Balancing corporate control over brand image with local input provides an optimal mix for global brand content management, Laing said.

The latest version of Orchestrate enables 200 editors at one company to publish and update content hundreds of times a day, while maintaining a consistent brand image in 15 different languages. The firm’s site manages, and deploys from two databases, some 18,000 pieces of content and more than 4,000 collateral items, offers and photo files.

GlobalWorks Orchestrate helps editors sort tasks by deadline, date, range and content type, simplifies how to create, upload and import content, and generates update reminders. It also creates usage reports showing all updates, giving other content owners a sense of needed upcoming revisions, to better manage time and resources.

Orchestrate can customize messages, lists, alerts, calendars, tasks, and document and photo libraries. The capabilities improve control over information technology environments, Laing said, without increasing dependency on IT departments.
